This ancient Eastern philosophy with its amazing health benefits for the body and mind has gained much popularity in the West over the past few years. It improves postural alignment, flexibility, restores the spine, and increases muscular strength and endurance, while it also acts internally strengthening and massaging the vital organs, detoxing the blood liver spleen, glands and joints.

Healing and balancing the physical body helps to bring clarity and focus to the mind. Yoga does not separate the mind and the body but believes they are one, the original essence of Yoga was to experience spiritual benefits through the body and mind. The translation of "Yoga" describes the integration of mind and body to access the connection with peace, your own inherent nature.

Warming up with 'Sun Salutations' as taught by reknowned Guru Sri K Pattabi Jois, you will then be gently led into very deep but passive stretching to open the hips restore the spine, release tension in the shoulders and let go of physical and in turn mental limitations that may be manifested within the physical body.
hatha vinyasa flow
Again warming up with Sun Salutations, this is a moving flowing meditative style which focusses on not striving but really enjoying the physical and mental benefits of Yoga using movement with breath releasing of any tensions and stresses.
